By accessing or using Mission to Mars ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
Mission to Mars is an educational game that teaches AI system design concepts. The Service includes interactive gameplay, an AI companion (TOM) powered by Anthropic's Claude, and the ability to create and manage AI agents within the game environment.
By using this Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
You must sign in with a Google account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and any activity that occurs under your account.
Upon payment, you receive a personal, non-transferable license to access the Service. This license is for individual use only.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
The Service requires a one-time payment for access. All payments are processed through Stripe. Refund requests may be considered within 14 days of purchase if you have not completed more than 2 levels. To request a refund, contact us at rsowauth@gmail.com.

We employ content moderation to ensure appropriate use of the AI features. Inappropriate content may be blocked, and repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.
All content, code, graphics, and other materials in the Service are owned by us or our licensors. You may not use, copy, or distribute any content without permission.
The AI agents you create within the game are your creative work, but the underlying technology and game systems remain our property.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. THE AI COMPANION MAY PROVIDE INACCURATE INFORMATION.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your license to use the Service ends immediately. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us at rsowauth@gmail.com. We will delete your data within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law.
The Service depends on third-party providers including Anthropic (AI), Stripe (payments), Supabase (database), and Vercel (hosting). We are not liable for service interruptions caused by outages, maintenance, or changes at these providers, or by events beyond our reasonable control such as natural disasters, network failures, or government actions.
Any dispute arising from these terms or the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation by contacting us at rsowauth@gmail.com. If the dispute cannot be resolved within 30 days, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in San Francisco, California. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-game notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
